Why Choose Meditree

Meditree combines acupuncture, physiotherapy, Chinese herbal medicine and rehabilitation care under one East Auckland clinic. Your care plan is tailored to your symptoms, lifestyle and recovery goals, with clear guidance at every stage.

Vertigo and tinnitus are different symptoms

Vertigo is a spinning or moving sensation. BPPV is one common cause and is usually triggered by changes in head position, such as rolling in bed or looking up.

Tinnitus is hearing ringing, buzzing, hissing or another sound when there is no matching external sound. It can be related to hearing changes, noise exposure, medicines, stress, injury or other health conditions, and sometimes the cause is not clear.

Why assessment matters

Because dizziness and tinnitus have many possible causes, treatment should follow an appropriate assessment rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Our team can help identify whether your presentation appears suitable for conservative care and when another healthcare professional should be involved.
